Today was Colby and Mia's first game of Fall season...
SO EXCITED!!! *And Hurray! He finally got another uniform color other than orange! The uniforms are really nice this time around... * Ger's coaching his team and they are the Sharks.
Colby played AWESOME! He has come so far since 3 seasons ago and had a blast and is improving so much on his ball handling skills and understanding of the game.
GOAL! He was so pleased!
Another GOAL! Ger's fingers show "2" goals...
And after some more focus and determination he ended up with 6 goals for the game! His team played great and everyone but one player got a goal. Plus they got a shut out. I think they have a good team- yay! We've been on the losing end so many times, it's great to have a good start to the season.
And... My camera battery died midway through Colby's game! So I will post pics of Mia really soon (THANKS STUMS!) but she had a GREAT game. She has a great coach and good team and her best friend Indi is on it, so it doesn't get any better than that. :-) Her coach rotated them through all the positions so she played goalie for a quarter, defense for a quarter, and then forward for a quarter. She scored 2 goals when she was a forward! She fought for them and got them by following the ball through and sticking with it. She had a BLAST and is so fast and fiesty. It was a fun game to watch and they ended up winning 3-0. YAY TIGERS! (Yes, Mia is stuck with orange for the umpteenth season but she doesn't mind!)
Sydney was the best cheerleader anyone could ask for. She helped Mia and Colby get drinks and find a seat in the shade when they weren't playing and cheered them on the whole game! When I asked her, "Are you sad that you decided not to play soccer?" She said, "No way! I am glad I'm not playing!" She is so into gymnastics right now, it is totally her thing. So she was a great sister to cheer on and support Mia and Colby!
So anyways, I will post pics of Mia soon but that's the latest and greatest from our world!

Holy Toledo, Colby! Goal king this weekend! Way to go, buddy!! Brady loved seeing "Colby make a goal."
