Such an easy and yummy treat to make for the 4th!
Colby LOVES making anything with chocolate so was quick to jump in on the project. He is my counter sitting child- bah! I've got to break him of that habit...
Sydney is demonstrating how we did it- fill a cup about half full with chocolate melt buttons... microwave 30 seconds and stir... then microwave another 30 seconds. Then to dip the long pretzel in the cup so you can cover a good part of the pretzel! Turn the pretzel in the chocolate and shake off excess...
Sprinkle with fun sprinkles... and lay out on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper to dry. These also would look pretty drizzled in chocolate! But we just stuck with the festive sprinkles.
Colby decided he wanted his fingers to be "sparklers." With the excess chocolate and sprinkles he did just that! YUM!
NOTE: If we brought Pretzel Sparklers to your house, the children were not involved in the making of them. :-) They were quite satisfied to eat all the ones they made! ha.
